For a Saudi cooperative-training application, state your current degree, expected graduation, confirmed training dates and relevant academic work. Check the programme's required university letter and transcript separately; a personal CV is not an official placement authorisation.

Prepare a cooperative-training application pack
Start with the training period your university approves. Write down the start date, end date, required duration, major and university contact if one is provided. Then read the employer’s programme page. A CV explains your suitability, while a university letter confirms the academic placement. Sending only a CV can leave a required attachment missing; sending every document in one PDF can also be wrong when the form has separate fields.

Confirm the current instructions at the actual employer; do not assume that one programme’s duration or grade threshold applies to every cooperative placement.
Show what you could contribute during training
Pick a project related to the department. For business systems, explain requirements gathering or testing. For purchasing, explain how you compared options. State the supervision and classroom context. A student is not expected to invent a professional track record, but the employer needs more than a list of course names.

State availability without promising an unapproved schedule
Use exact approved dates when available. If your university has not confirmed them, say that confirmation is pending instead of selecting dates to match the advertisement. Check whether a placement in Riyadh or Jeddah would require relocation and describe only arrangements you can actually make. Do not describe yourself as available immediately if you still have conflicting academic obligations.

- Should I call myself an intern before acceptance?
- Use “student seeking cooperative training” or a similar accurate description. Do not list a future placement as completed employment.
- Should the university letter be inside the CV?

- What should my opening paragraph say?
- Name the major, approved training period and one relevant project. The objective examples include a training version.
Check programme requirements before submitting
- Aramco's published university internship requirements distinguish students who need practical training before graduation. Read the current eligibility page; do not assume it applies to graduates or every Saudi employer.
- Qassim municipality's service requests an official university letter with the purpose and start/end dates. Use this as an example of why confirmed dates matter, not a universal application template.
- Keep the CV, official letter and transcript consistent on name, programme and dates. Ask your university to correct inconsistencies before sending.
- Do not write a future placement as completed work. If you have already completed training, list the actual employer, dates, supervision and tasks under experience.
Why the example is written this way
The training window is visible before the project because it can determine whether the placement fits. The project remains explicitly academic and contains no claim to prior help-desk employment.
